Was bored yesterday so took an unexpected trip to the mall...stopped by Champs and to my surprise they had an 11.5 in stock so I picked it up.

My order from ADC will be here in a few days, so if anyone needs an 11.5 let me know (retail plus shipping)... if not I'm just going to send them back.

Anyhow I've been walking around the house in them and they feel fine. I have a narrow foot (12B) and if I don't have them tied tight then my heel has a little movement in the back, but nothing crazy....probably the same way my foot feels in the LBJ 20 if they aren't laced up tight. Do feel some lace pressure (just like the mids) depending on how tight I lace them because of the lack of padding on the tongue. Sold my mids so I can't go back and forth to compare cushioning but if you guys say it feels lower in the forefoot then I probably would have to agree. The target Boost is nice, the setup reminds me of how when shoes have Zoom in the heel and in the forefoot you definitely notice that.

Overslept today so I didn't make it to my Sat am hoop session... thanks NCAA 25 lol... but will be putting them on court tomorrow and will be back with some initial thoughts. As of right now I don't feel like these are all THAT much different than the mids, besides the obvious lower cut. Oh yeah, gonna swap out the stock laces because they're still the same as the mids...and those sucked because I had the hardest time keeping them tied, even with a double knot.

Seems to be conflicting reviews about heel slippage. I know this guy noted it along with posters in the bball subreddit, but nightwing never mentioned it in his review. I went TTS or half down from my Yeezy 350 and Kobe sizing and it works perfectly. Laced all the way to the top hole and haven’t had any issues

These really remind me of the GT Cut 3 w/ the Zoom X setup, so I did a side by side comparison and it’s pretty close. Both of these haven’t been worn, but I do have another pair of GT’s that I keep in rotation.

Forefoot in both are pretty minimal, but the GT has a little more bounciness to it… heel on both to me feel almost exactly the same. If I had to pick one I’d say Zoom X might be a little bit more plush.

Fit on GT’s a little more narrow, heel lockdown on both are good but not great… but in the GT’s that I’ve played in as long as the laces are cranked I had no heel slippage issues, so assuming the same with the AE’s.

Of course GT’s are extremely lightweight, while the AE’s are not.

Anyhow just a heads up if you’re thinking about buying these but you can’t find the lows (or mids) in stores to try on if you try on the GT3’s to at least put you in the same ballpark as far as the feel.

Is the consensus that these are true to size? I’m going back to champs tomorrow to buy the low tops, they just look too fire in person. I definitely think the low looks better than the mid.

Might be a tad bit long but nothing a double knot shouldn’t fix. Better that than risking them being too short.

Got my first run in the lows this morning…

No heel slip while playing, which was the main thing I was worried about. Cushion felt good enough for my old knees, but the real test is how they feel the day after. Haven’t worn the mids in a while, but these feel like more of a smoother ride overall. Not sure if the materials are going to break in but they’re not bad out the box.

Best thing I can say about these is that you don’t really notice much while playing which is a good thing. Looking forward to the next session…

Adidas with superfast shipping. Lows are . The heel slippage complaints have to be from not lacing to the last holes. There would be no way to play that way. Even casually you need the last set of lace holes.
