Banned 1's are nice but not that hard to acquire if you wan't them bad enough. No AJ1 collector is going to consider them their top pick up, definitely not over any nice OG, especially any of the rare OG metallics.
Metallics are for dude that listen to Young Thug or wear womans panties...flame on! Banneds aren't chump change so don't give me that jazz about anyone can get them. What kind of educated individual do you know that pays ten times the retail value of anything?

Picked these up, both DS

are the royal blue the same on both shoes? seems frags have darker blue in the pic

I just seen a guy Instagram page that works at a local finish line, and he uploaded a stock room pic with the Bulls over Broadway 10s, the Oreo 4s and the Laser 1s....so that finishline info was spot on :hat

Reasons I miss being back home, was a breeze getting most kicks.

anni 1s shouldnt be that hard to acquire based on all the info thats been posted

Lol if you don't like the metallics then that's just your personal taste, no need to try and insult people that do. I think it's safe to say that the market value for banneds is more than their original retail. I'm not condoning paying stacks for them, I wouldn't, but there are enough of them out there priced up that if you really want a pair and got the cash they're not that hard to track down. If you can find a pair for a steal and you love them then I salute you.

1.The leather is buttery and on another level
2. Only released at outlet stores/limited
3. 3 sets of laces
4. Special insole and the date they were banned printed on the inner lining of the shoe
5. X on the back
6. Special banned box only for the shoe
7. First AJ 1 shoe to get the Nike Air branding again with a nicer tongue material

All of the above. Also, just to add to #7. It was +10 years since the last NA sighting. This shoe set the stage for the recent NA explosion.

Got an offer for a pair of DS legit Royal 1s for my South Beach Lebron 8. Any thoughts on this trade?
I'd personally do it.

SB8 are listed at a higher aftermarket price but that shoe is just gimmicky trash to me. Not appealing at all for casual wear.

This is just my humble opinion, but #2-7 are just nonsense that Jordan created to give "value" to the shoe, if you can call it that.  It's called creating marketability for an already existing product. It's actually great marketing and great market research to understand the Jordan consumer blindly see's minute changes as "special".

To simplify it, nicer leather material is probably the most important aspect of the the AJ1 Banned.  Everything else detailed is superfluous and is presented to the consumer to visualize added "value".

In no way am I trying to disprove your points as they are the actual differences, but I don't see those differences justifying triple or more of the resale price of regular Bred 1's.
