Make the shoe white-based and this concept makes sense. Maybe not more visually appealing but it'd at least make sense.

I lucked up in the BIGGEST way when I got both my '01 Blk/Reds and Royals. Brand new/DS, but dude I knew needed to get rid of them and a bunch of other pairs. I got both for less than $400 total. Only thing I regret was not also jumping on his DS pair of Stussy SBs (he was also getting rid of for crazy low) fast enough before he sold them to someone else. Wasn't meant to be clearly.

+1 on this. The SB era of the early 2000s is what really kicked it off for me. Been lightly connecting since I was a kid, maybe a pair every month or 2, but those SBs def turned it up a notch.

I've got the spares from my ochres in mine and they look really nice with yellow IMO.. Posted pic a page or two back.
Tried white ones and the balance didn't feel right on feet.
