Exactly. They were everywhere during those days (I was in middle school ‘97-‘00). It’s just a fact that I will never wear Team Jordan’s again. Just don’t fit my style anymore personally. But there’s no doubt that at one time in the late ‘90s they, in particularly the Jordan Team 1 and the Jordan Jumpman Pro, were viewed as dope by pretty much everyone. I’m not the oldest, but I remember these models being rocked by Eddie Jones, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett, and some of the great color ways they had. My personal favorite was the Jordan Team 1 in the UNC color way. Sure, I recognize that to some they’ll never be “real” Jordan’s and be viewed as “off brand,” but let’s not act like they were NEVER EVER viewed fondly upon at one time.

I have no idea. They definitely was trying to be hush. I saw the ups dude checking out with a pair and said oh I need a pair too. I was persistent and finally they grabbed one out the back. They was trying to keep em for sure though.

I had those dunks. Still, your explanation was weak and you are wrong. They are definitely over hyped tho, but almost all J1s are now.

Obsidians and OG’s all day everyday. I’d take the SB low UNCs over the University Blues tbh.

University blues are fine. I def don’t think they’re wack. They’re just basic. We’ve seen tumbled leather and nubuck before. We’ve seen UNC blue before. If “GR” was a color way, they’d be these. I’ve got a pair of obsidians that I love wearing so when my pair gets here im not sure how much wear they’ll get but these are by no means terrible. That said these aren’t $400 sneakers. Not to me atleast. But there aren’t many GRs that dropped in the last 2 years I think are worth that let alone the wild prices 1s are going for in general
