Thx for the clarity. Granite I'm not hurting, I jus pick and choose my spots. Def wanted the stealths from jump so it's not like a new colorway or something I wasn't expecting as these lasers to pop up

For the ~$270 these will come to, I'd rather save for the Oreo 4s 5 days later, and whatever possible restock for ASW. Although, has anyone heard of anything other than the NYC 1s restocking?

every CDP jordan shoe was made out of plastic.. yes the styles they chose were on point but damm the quality was a disaster and disapoinment.. they really do need to retro the 16s, 17s, 18s, etc

Not every CDP had bad quality. I's,V's, VI's, VII's, IX's, XII's, XIII's, XIV's, XVI's, XIX's all had decent quality IMO.

X, xx, and xxi weren't bad as well. Though the xx and xxi were bad for the colorblocking.

The CDPs I copped were decent to me as well. I don't feel they are really much worse than any of the shoes I copped in the last 2 years. I have 5s, 6s, 7s, 9s, 11s, 12s, 14s, 16s, 17s, 18s. I got extremely unlucky though with 2 of the CDPs. both the 16s and 17s came with 2 of the same shroud so I have never been able to rock either pair shrouded

Damn that sucks. I can't belive both pairs had two of the same shroud, what's the odds of that :\ if it makes you feel any better I can't wear either pair with the shrouds because my feet are wide and if I try to wear them they keep poping off.

9 out of 10 people who bought XX's thought the strap was weird and unnecessary because they didn't understand the proper setup. You are supposed to flip the tab up and it wedges between the two straps for ankle lockdown.
It was part of the OG Kicksology review how they felt horrible performance wise until he realized the proper fitting. That little piece makes a huge dIfference.
I hope it has the proper Sphere lining also; the LeBron II and XX felt so plush with that dimpled sockliner

That's nonsense, that tab was never meant to lock down the ankle straps... The strap was and is a major design flaw on the XXs

nope. it's only uncomfortable if you don't fully strap them up (with the tab). it will pinch your legs. that's why you see a lot of pictures where they are either wearing long socks, or they have the strap done real loose and puffy looking. usually it's a combination of the 2. look at the picture of melo in this thread that's a prime example

I'll let you be the judge on "putting in work". I just laced these up and strapped the ankles normally, always thought the ankle straps was a little weird.
So what's the "Proper" way to strap these down??? Pics??

the shoes can sometimes be a struggle to put on tho

You're correct on both counts. The red was def darker and didn't pop like the og's did.
