You're correct on both counts. The red was def darker and didn't pop like the og's did.

my XVI's OG and CDP were the same quality.. the only thing i griped about was the red paint on the side chipped on the CDPs and my OG's didnt..

I was out of the sneaker game for a while after the Jordan XVIII and I was always curious what the XXs were like so I'm definitely in for a pair this time around. Does anyone know if the stealths will be the same price point as the lasers? Or did they just put a premium on the lasers because they're going to be limited? Also on the topic of Jordan XVIs I had the white/navy pair back in 2001 and I thought that was the better colorway at the time between the two but looking back on it now those black/reds are tough.

Are they still a go?  Because I looked on a couple of release date calendars, and they have the "tropical teal" 4's and some foams that day, but nothing about the stealths

The XXs are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and the stealths are by far the best colorway, in my eyes. I'm definitely in for a new pair when they release.

The IPS and the ankle strap were dope and effective features - despite however much of a gimmick they may come across. I've got my doubts as to whether some of you who've commented negatively have actually worn the shoes

I never said you have to wear them like that. I was just stating that the tab is indeed for that. why else would it be there. why does it have a design under it that shows while it's flipped up? why does the box have a diagram about how to secure the strap? those black things are most likely some sort of custom ankle sleeve which is likely why Ray didn't choose to opt for the extra support.

I'll let you be the judge on "putting in work". I just laced these up and strapped the ankles normally, always thought the ankle straps was a little weird.


So what's the "Proper" way to strap these down??? Pics??

The look is thrown off by the gold laser design on the strap. Hopefully this is changed on the release version.

+1 but **** the price. I most likely couldn't bring myself to cop considering I got the original black/blue colorway for 40 bucks at the outlet lol. towel, brush and all. they would want about 200+ now with just a box and most likely no Carbon fiber insole either.

 cdp didn't have one but it did have a brush though if I remember correctly. unless I just threw one of my old ones in there
