Official B l u - r a y thread - Confirmed: Lucasfilm preparing Star Wars box

Picked up all 4 seasons of Breaking Bad today at Best Buy for less than 40$. Seasons 1&2 are BOGO and 3 & 4 are 11.99 as well but no BOGO. Picked up season 3 of True Blood for 22.99 as well. Someone mentioned Bluray.com on here once and I must say that site keeps you up to date with ALL the deals.

^ That Nolan Batman trilogy is enticing, good looks on the link. But I remember reading that there was an Ultimate trilogy set coming out next Spring, so my impatient self will wait it out.

thinking about pulling the trigger on prometheus.. its only 14.99 . but im waiting to see what's going on sale for black friday week on amazon

Amazon price matched Breaking Bad but they don't have the BOGO on the first 2 seasons like Best Buy.

Best Buy & Amazon also have Titanic 3D and I Robot 3D for $14.99

I still got a few $5 off coupons from the trade in any DVD coupons a couple months back and I will use them tomorrow at Best Buy for both movies.

Also if anyone is looking for a great blu-ray player Best Buy & Amazon has Sony's 2 best stand alone players the S790 for $199 & S590 for $99

The S790 is the top of the line Sony blu-ray player

Amazon lightning deals schedule for the week (some DVDs mixed in with Blurays):

But keep checking the bluray site because the lightning deals are only a small portion of what will be on sale this week.

Bluray.com has been a godsend! Im up to 328 blu rays as of last night.

On my lunch break right now.

Stopped by a local Best Buy and got Titanic 3D and I Robot 3D for $9.99 each by using 2 of the $5 off coupons from the upgrade & save DVD program Best Buy had about a month ago.

Got breaking bad seasons 1-3(already had 4) last night with the bestbuy deal.. Gonna go pick them up in store after work :pimp:

I'm in the market for a ne blu-ray player. What's the best one in the 120-150 dollar range?

I bought a vizio one and then returned it. While I liked the apps, wireless capability, and, the keyboard remote, it was just way too slow! Like opening an app would take 15-20 secs, menu options taking 2-3 seconds to open, etc.

Any help on a better option?

Picked up the oceans box set for 9.99 walking dead ssn1 for 11.99 ssn2 for 20 at target and cabin in the woods for 8.00 at target. I think I'm done with my Black Friday shopping in terms of blus except for a couple of the 3.99 blus at Walmart.

I wish I knew of this thread before yesterday. I went HAM at Best Buy and Target thinking I got deals on sale items, but I could have saved a little more on a few of my purchases.

700

Still, not a bad come up on all of that for a little over $100.

I still need help on a new Blu-Ray player though!

I'm gonna do my best to keep this thread updated with deals. I'm on bluray.com a lot and they are always up to date on sales and what not.

I use a PS3. Already had one before I started buying blurays, so I never really went out and researched players.

Spend a extra $50 and get Sony's top of the line non ES series blu-ray player the BDP-S790.Both Best Buy and amazon have it on sale for $199.

Lot of reviews say it's the best stand alone blu-ray player under $500.
