Official Bitcoin Thread

Bought $1000 in dogecoins thanks PRIME PRIME

 not srs

I read thru a lot of this thread and all the links/videos posted before I started putting $ in. Appreciate you guys for posting those. Still a newbie but Im learning, reading and watching a whole lot of stuff.

I own some as a lotto ticket. Pick a number you can afford burning. Supply is so high that it won’t ever be able to explode big time to like 10 cause the market cap will be disgustingly huge. I like the idea somewhat because I could see the Chinese getting behind it. But only bet what you can burn. Don’t expect it to explode and make you rich but who knows.
I was just on Reddit and this dude was going of a ledge talking about 10 dollars by the end of next year. Dudes where pumping his brake real quick.

I need to learn more about market caps and stuff.

1 thing is for sure and we go back to this cents matter, over the entire week I have do it down serious money on many different coins.

If I would of have put everything from jump on TRX I would if have double my money already, far more than the gains I currently have.

Crazy ...

Like this dude that got Rob for 1.8million of ETH at gunpoint.

Don’t focus on getting rich you’ll just take dumb risks. Look for good companies with growth and potential and spread your seed.
I def hear you, but this influx (I'm guilty to an extend) are trying to get rich quick. I'm sure most know the difference between these coins.

Just be careful I learned the hard way.

Some volume coming into QSP. Might be the next one to get pumped soon.

Is crypto's beauty the fact that everyone can get into it and possibly make money? Or is that it's main flaw?

man I still waiting for my payment to be verified on changely. so im going to flip as much as I can this weekend and be ready to move by next week.

They plan to audit smart contracts to find bugs in the code. Whitepaper was a good read. Y combinator funded.
Yeap just read it ...

I like their direction and future plans.

Everything needs a security system and is an ext to the blockchain so necessary I suppose.

They said 0 percent of dump and from .06 when it hit it has maintained 10-12 cents.

While reading I came across POWR heard of it?

I think I'm about to jump on that ship first.

At first glance it seems like a coin that everyone will jump on, who doesn't want an eco system and energy saving?

There’s people on here better informed on POWR than I am. Interesting idea, but never really caught my interest. I forget who’s holding but they’ll reappear to discuss it.

That's why I prefer Litecoin. No reason I should have to wait days for a transfer.

It took me 10 - 15 minutes to transfer Litecoin to Bitfinex eaelier today. However, once there I had to switch it to ETH in order to buy Alts.

With BTC, it took me 12 hours....

Bank wire finally cleared on Gdax...went in on ltc...also used coinbase to transfer ltc over to finance for ripple earlier...took like 10minites max to transfer

evercoin any good? I see you can't exchange a fraction of a coin like you could on changelly..

...changelly wanted to go and take off XRP... :{

Any of you guys invest in stocks/real estate as well?

I love crypto's but its opened my eyes to not just ICO investing and HODL'ing but also pushed my long time interest in investments/stocks in general.

I've had robinhood for a few months now, but I've taken more to ICO's. I want to continue to make my money work for me.

I'm not big on real estate, but maybe on day i'll take my talents to souch beach on that as well

Yep, of course. I've been in stocks for a long time. I feel that being in stocks should be a pre requisite to buying crypto currency. A person should have some solid stock or real estate investments before even considering buying cryptocurrency.

Not necessarily. Ideally yes but it takes far more capital to invest in either of the two you just mentioned. Capital that many will never have. If anything crypto can be an introductory to other investments.

I'm not too sure how true that statement is, but I do believe appreciating the less volatile stock market would teach patience in those looking for a quick buck.

Everyone thinks they're going to wake up next week with a million dollars.Everytime i hear someone talking about crypto's they think its sweet out here.

"this finna be a breeze!"

I'm going to hit you up though, I definitely have questions on that topic
