jus got my bold today (swithced from the iBrick) im running with my mac book pro. what are some essential apps for this phone. already checked the list on pg1, jus wanna kno what apps are a must have to fully enjoy the "BB Experience"

those were the prices i saw too, but when i called tmobile to switch my account from the sk one to a BB
the rep told me i only have to pay $24.99 for unlimited everything

and its finally happening. First they broke
into NYC. _'s knew they was bout to
take over, but they aint have no smart
phone..... until now.

Its about to be a wrap!!!

Unlimited as in texts,email,internet or including calls?
I may see if I can get the same kind of deal.

I honestly wish the bold came to tmobile. THAT is the phone I want.
 
Anyone know of an app that will allow the convenience key to be used or assigned to key pad lock? I always forget to lock my BB before I put it in my pocketand if I could assign keypad lock to that key it would be great and help avoid all these random calls that I make by accident.

why dont you just press and hold the mute button and put it on standby?

Not even a month ago
i always get what i want from tmobile

i even got them to bring down that $40 unlimited data plan for sidekicks down to $20 a couple months ago
i think they learned their lesson, i didnt even have to ask this time

ive worked retail for years so i know customers get what they want

but on the real my sister has a sidekick so i argued it wouldnt makesense for me to pay two different prices for the same thing on the same bill.
(shes had one so she was only charged the $20 a month)
i didnt threaten to leave but i said the situation was ridiculous especially since ive been a customer for so many years(5, 6?)
talked to a supervisor, who finally transferred me to customer loyalty
homeboy took care of it in a second

when i called about the blackberry and the rep said it was $25
i asked is that the unlimited? and he said YEEEUP word to trey.
didnt even mention the $35 plan.
 
Got my 8900 yesterday. A couple questions...

I use Gmail. Is there anyway when I view my mail on my BB that it marks it as viewed on my Gmail inbox ? I hate having to come home and marking them as viewed.

For my email options I have it so images download automatically but some dont. I have to hit menu and then hit get images. Anyway around this ?

Where can I get ringtones ?

if you go to m.google.com/mail you can get the GMail app for BB.

it'll mark them all as read once you read them.
 
just picked up the Bold the other day, i got so many questions i don't know where to begin. i'll start going back in thru this thread to see if somehave been answered.

but what are some must-have apps??? one that was recommended to me was the "google maps" app.
