i just copped a unlocked bb tour but my data isnt working...when i turn 1xev the data works but the voice doesnt work..anyone know how to fix this?

where's the best place to go if you're looking to modify the blackberry housing? i'm not 100% set on taking apart my 9700 since i heard it's tough and could potentially void your warranty, but i'd like to know just in case. any info would be much appreciated, thank you!

Back up your phone with Desktop Manager before you do anything.
1. Download OS to PC.
2. Install OS by clicking the .exe.
3. Delete Vendor.xml file located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.
4. Plug BB into computer via USB.
5. Click Loader.exe located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.
6. Follow on screen instructions.
7. New OS should be loaded.
Before I load a new OS, I usually do a complete wipe with JL_Cmder.

In my experience just using the pre-installed AIM program, it was pretty good. Immediate response, no real lag, no complaints. I haven't used it extensively or compared other IM programs so I'm not sure how it stacks up, though.
