You're seeing what you want to see. What else could Green have done on that 2nd goal? He was in position but the puck took a terrible bounce off his skates. If anything, ask where his partner was on that play or why Backstrom coughed up the puck....I'll wait. For OT....Green had to hustle his @!+ back into the play because Carlson made an AWFUL line change. The only negative on Green tonight was the bad penalty he took on Stamkos. Placing the blame soley on him is absolutely foolish. He's been your whipping boy for the past 2 seasons, and it's funny....EVERYONE can see that's he's now a more complete player but you. Aside from Hannan, he's been the 2nd best d-man in the playoffs on the Caps.
If Wideman is healthy, he needs to come in for Schultz. Dude is playing like a sack of flour out there...except the sack of flour would probably be more physical.
For Bruce Boudreau, what more do you want of him? He changed the identity of the team for the better. Last year's system wasn't working and now you're waving the white flag when faced with a little adversity. Typical bandwagon fan.
Sorry, but that's what it looks like to me. If the Caps comeback and win the series, stop posting in the hockey threads.
Bro...u need to relax...drink some JWB....make a new SN...get some fresh air....etc. Let's give credit where it's due to TB. They are playing mistake-free hockey and capitalizing on mistakes by the Caps.
Being in an 0-2 hole isn't the end of the world and the series is a LONG way from being over. In years past, we've seen teams climb out of 0-2 deficits. I'm not worried (yet). Obviously Tuesday is a must-win (we'll take it one game at a time). They gotta up the pressure on Roli and try to get more dirty goals. As Brooks Laich said a few years back, "if you want bread...go to the bakery." This cute +!+! ain't working.
