***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

lol Envy is still an employee though.. passing down money is different than passing down a business.. Why give someone cash when you can giv them something that generates ther own cash.. at least if they spend.. they gain more cash instead of giving them money and they too dumb to build a business and blow it all on cars and stuff.

 i'd take advice from Envy wayyyyyyy before Dame.

Envy is eating and my man doesn't even need to go on tour like most DJ's .

some of you guys just don't get it...

you guys are taking this employee-boss thing too literal...

obviously if you are making 80k + with reasonable hours and not an extreme toll on your body, you are not going to be complaining or be that motivated to have your own business...but how many people are really making 80k + doing something that isn't f'ing up their body or mind and ACTUALLY ENJOY DOING EVERYDAY?

the only issue here is that you won't be able to pass down any of your hard work to your family...it will either all be in cash, or a house, or some sort of asset...this was his only issue with envy working 25+ years and not being his own boss...but im sure envy has certain investments which semi-count as a personal business/self-employment...

dame is mostly talking about the regular joe like you and i who gets up @ 7AM and gets ready by 8 ...force feeds himself and runs to work...be a robot for 8 hours...then run back home and fulfill your 40 hr work week...

how anyone think this is not some ******** society feeds you from junior high up until college is sleeping....this world wouldn't run without a bunch of sheep who are going to punch the clock for 40 years and retire with nothing in a publicly funded nursing home....

you need to realize a goal from the first day you start a job...and that goal should be to get enough asset/money that you can flip and make a move and get away from having to work for anyone ever again...

no job where you are working for someone else (unless you are making 80k + comfortably) should be a long term commitment...

Dame is def still has the hustler spirit but can't see him getting back to where he use to be financially.
Yeah, I admire his spirit but he's like the old 55 year old dude trying to play b-ball games at the gym, you're old, slow, weak, and have a higher risk of getting injured.

There is a tiny bit of truth to his message but it's clouded in arrogance, immaturity, and ignorance. He's a hustler, period, with an incredibly low financial IQ. Stop listening to his words and just look at the facts. The man has more liabilities than assets and would be denied any kind of loan. He operates in the entertainment industry but his attitude has ruined all relationships. He's a talker.

just to add...this whole sheep culture is a western phenomenon...

most other countries don't have this 9-5 robot lifestyle that exists here...

even when my family first emigrated to North America...we came here with nothing but didn't accept this idea of working for others...first chance we got we opened up our own business...dealership...restaurants...etc.

but that culture or having your own business was brought from back home...

so all you dudes up in arms about what this guy said..get out of you bubble and realize that there is nothing but positive from what this dude is saying regardless of how he is saying it...

You're looking at it the wrong way. Let's say envy leaves his kids with a few mil. They can invest that and start up they're own business and become their own "bosses". He's leaving them with something and it's ultimately up to them. Just like if you leave a business to your kids...its up to them to keep it running and do something with it.

That's like anybody who came from poverty, and parents were able to be successful...they passed something down to us and put us in a better situation to succeed. It doesent always have to be monetary. They could've gave us access to better education, health etc etc.

The ultimate goal of being a parent is to make sure your children are happy don't struggle and are brought up correctly. There are a number of ways to do that.

Exactly^

Dude says he's happy with what he's doing and he's getting paid handsomely. Why take the risk trying to become "a boss"?

I don't see how having a boss would be frowned upon.

Envy is living good and providing a life of happiness for his family. He's not divorced, struggling to get his business back off the ground, and living off the fumes of the people around him a decade ago.

Envy is good. Dame lost
.

What's he up to?

i couldn't catch it all cause i was working , due to having a job lol , but i noticed them taking mad shots at dame this morning and i found it extremely corny because none of them were that brave when he was there especially charlamagne . as much as he dishes it to his guest  it sounds like he's having a hard time dealing with being called a chatty patty . granted dame opened the gates for some of it saying envy wasn't a super hero in front of his kids when his boss is around , but making fun of his child's chipz company ? they violated i wont be surprised if dame gets at them .

it also makes me think they know that dame struck a chord with what he had to say thats why they still tight . they let that _ stew all weekend and come back monday morning with all the jokes in the world after figuring out what they had to say . envy also saying a lot of people with a lot of money were calling him and mad about the interview only proves how ridiculous they sound in comparison to what dame was trying to say .

Interesting, so they're slandering him on the radio today?  You just know what he said about waking up at 4 AM was the first thing they thought of when they woke up this morning, lol.

But it's like he said, they're in the business of gossip and being Chatty Patties.  If you go by that logic, it follows that they would talk bad about him once he's gone.   Frankly they look like herbs in this situation if what you say is true.

which makes dame's statement even more "law"

What song is that at 2:37??? I know I know it but I can't for the life of me remember it
Edit: I am Dame Dash. That paid in full soundtrack is incredible

Couldn't have said this any better...

In order to get rich or be very successful you have to start somewhere unless you're out here robbing banks. So whoever was supplying Dame with his "work" was his boss. Yea he eventually branched off and did his own thing but he started somewhere which is what he's forgetting. He's got money so of course his son is not gonna have to come up like the rest of us. Where did his son get the start up money? Dame? If not Dame then I'm sure he had to get a job somewhere and stack. Dude is a clown no other way to put it. I don't know who those dudes are next to him but the whole time he were talking I was thinking aren't you basically ******** on the people sitting next to you? They sure don't look like bosses either :smh:

What they say about dame this morning
nerd.gif
jabs about having a boss , his son having cookies , not talking about other men .

which was pretty funny considering they had some dude talk about doing gay porn or something like that right after that like bruh
