***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

Why do artist get so sensitive about "Donkey of the Day". It's all jokes really, and THEY bring it on themselves. Dudes really be mad at CTG for giving them "Donkey of the Day".

CTG just wrote in Twitter that he was going to give meek Donkey of the day, but powers that be told him not too. :{

Must be corporate America :lol

I've never seen someone do everything in their power to fall off like this, it's like Meek wants to retire but didn't know how to go about it.

The fact dude is genuinely oblivious to how much of bird he looks like is crazy.

Ross should just sign montana of 300

Signing Montana of 300 or Kodak Black would be a power move, especially Kodak, he's only 18 and would keep the MMG brand going into this next decade...

Also, the Florida connection...

Let Meek find his own way, he's obviously not tryna be on that buddy buddy Khaled super friends WTBMMGYMCMBOVO **** no more.

It's bad enough Meek even had a fanbase to begin with, but if anyone still supports this guy after this latest stunt they need help.

Wish Ross would have an open interview and stop speaking candidly about this stuff. Meek acts like a bird. Ray Charles could see that. Ross' forehead has to be sore after all the face palms he's done because of Meek. Dude is a liability to MMG at this point.

Kodak is from Broward County, we don't really mess with Dade County dudes to tough...

Rozay cut him a check he gon mess with em real tuff....

Ross don't even put new Dade dudes on (except breed, torch, gunplay, who are elder). There are tons of good, young rappers in Miami, who Ross has ignored. Kodak has been going strong for 3-4 years. He does not need Ross.

From the interview Wale seems like a real cat...like someone I could have a conversation with, but people are threatened by confidence and intelligence when you seem to be self-aware or can't laugh at yourself. Jay-Z is a smart dude, obviously, but he hid his intelligence in rhymes about very basic **** like the drug game for a while and people, whether they ever sold drugs or not, related to that. And I'm not saying it's right, but when an artist becomes known, people want a box to put the artist in and that box is usually one they can understand on their terms.

Nas is above average intelligence, but the way he carried himself for a long time was like your average dude from the hood that had a knack for rhyming. Biggie, even said he dumbed his **** down to be more understanable/relatable. What Wale doesn't see is that the people have to champion you, you can't champion yourself. Once they do, they'll accept an artist saying that they are this or that, but not before they see you as that. If Jay would have come out and said he wanted to be who he is today on his first album, he would have never made it.

Wale is talented and smart, but he has to not tip his hand so much. Mystery is a tool an artist should use like a magician. Show them the product or the trick, but leave the message or the method up to interpretation. Let the audience try to figure it out or be amazed by how you did it.
Still remember this post about Wale...a very good one.

MMG is dead. You can't just refresh your brand and have it make the same impact in rap.

Name one movement that ever fell off and came back. Cash Money don't count because Wayne was always there.

This ain't sports. You can't just sign dudes up and keep the movement going.
