I think I mentioned this in the old Chris Paul vs Derrick Rose discussion, but it's crazy how good Rose really is. If you look at who is playing on the Bulls right now (take out Boozer and Noah due to injury) you have to wonder how the hell they even compete against good teams, let alone win. I mean Deng is good, don't get me wrong, but he is very inconsistent. The SG position is really suspect and so is the PF spot at the moment. Also, while Omer Asik does get a few blocks here and there,he is really SOFT in the post during offense (dude can't go up for a dunk for anything). Kurt Thomas was a good pickup though, and he really is showing his worth.
I'm happy the Bulls are winning, and also surprised their defense is as good as it is. ( I guess the credit goes to Tibs for that). As the season stands at the moment,I feel Rose deserves to be MVP.
It's funny how some people were telling me before how Chris Paul is better than this guy and this and that. Now I know this is a Bulls topic post so I won't get the criticism here, but there is no way in hell that Derrick Rose is not the best PG in the league right now, no way.
