OFFICIAL COMIC BOOK THREAD

The new Punisher #1 wasn't my favorite. Frank was a cameo in his own book, but I guess they want to build the other characters. Still not a big fan of Dillon's art.

I liked Daredevil/Punisher #1 even if it's just retreading. Blindspot is in it. I don't know how people feel about him, but I like Blindspot.
M

Im not that familar with either character so I wanted to read this and the new punisher cuz of DD season 2, it peaked my interest in those characters.

Just saw Descender Vol. 2 is for sale now. Gotta get that.

Also saw that Saga Vol. 6 won't be for sale till July. Smh.

Is eBay the best way to sell comics? I have 4 long boxes that I decided to sift through and sell what I can. Any suggestions on where I should try to sell some issues?

It's a common story telling thing with Frank. To me there was just enough of him in this to establish what was going on with the story being told. We've already seen Frank stakeout an operation and then go in and kill everybody for 20 pgs.

I liked how Face and his boss were established along with the BK DEA.

Rucka's Punisher run had him barely saying a word while he introduced another female Punisher.

I'm already reading that DD/Punisher infinite comic. Soule is doing a really good job. Story is pretty dope even if it's a retread.

Don't know about the best way, but i've bought and sold plenty of comics through eBay. Similar to shoes, it works because so many people around the world can see what you're selling and you'd be surprised how many people think to look for comics through there.

Beyond that i'd suggest looking for local comic shops. I think you'll get more through eBay, but local shops will probably take a lot of what you have in bulk.

I just wanted to see a bit of Frank's perspective, but I guess there's more issues for that.

I like Soule's writing too. Can't wait for next month's issue.

I saw a promo in my local shop for Deadpool v Gambit. Am I the only one who's tired of Deadpool crossovers? Do Deadpool books outsell everything? They're putting him everywhere.

Deadpool cannibalizes everyone's stories and they all become about Deadpool. After the success of the film, I'm scared of how much more he's going to get shoe-horned into everything.

I'm personally tired of Deadpool he's overdone. But I enjoyed anything Wolverine so what do I know

I hate Deadpool as a general rule.

but Gerry Duggans run was actually really really good. I stoped reading it when it ended at Secret Wars becuase 40 issues of Deadpool was enough for me.

also he's used perfectly in Ucanny X-force.

Uncanny X-Force was the PERFECT Deadpool. It bought balance and it humanized him.

Agree on x force Deadpool. He was done right with no over the top antics

Deadpool has a pretty large rather loyal fan base.

Marvel has seemed to learn from their last Deadpool comic flooding of the market in the 2000s; 4 not really good solo titles and crappy minis.

Now they got a good creative team on the main solo book, a spinoff team book and they got a system for minis to run along the solo as an alternative not to flood the market. DP vs Gambit is just another mini after Bunn's stuff was done.

Yep, loved the movie. It's a bit different to the comics though but the overall theme is consistent

Yeah I love how they referenced the comic story line in many places but built a new story for the film it was written well. Hopefully the movies get a much better ending lmao hate the civil war ending man

I feel like these Marvel movies will always have an ending that leaves some unsatisfied, as they are really "endings" since they're always building towards a sequel and a larger story.

I had no problem with it, and it's probably my favorite MCU movie to date. Will need to watch again to make a better judgement though. I know some people didn't enjoy the Secret Wars story line but man I loved it

That run was probably the only time I found Deadpool likeable. Everything else is too much for me.
Same. Really liked him on X-Force.

His solo comic is bearable though.

It should be said, has nothing to do with the creative team. It's just the character if Deadpool.
