Johns made Sinestro into the worst kind of savage and I loved it
Had Kyle crying like a baby after telling him about his mom. Really that entire run is amazing.
jays25 When you do start any New Universe book keep in mind the whole concept and premise of the line was to be like the real world where super abilities are being introduced for the first time. Not many of the books are superhero books
Think an 80s era version of Heroes with everyone making their way with new powers, some being pursued, etc.

I mean, I understand why you say that and I fully admit that Sinestro isn't as well known as Lex Luthor, Braniac, Two-Face, or Joker, but he's had his share of appearances in Justice League Unlimited, 2 animated GL films, and the live action GL film. I mean, he was the main villain when Green Lantern showed up in Static Shock
So it's not like DC doesn't make an effort to have him show up when Green Lantern is prominent. I expect the coming GL film for the DCEU will feature him as well. He's like Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom over in Flash. You really can't not mention him, because among fans of the character he's that popular and important.

This latest arc is kinda weird but I've seen very little to no slowdown in the past decade of publication. I thought Kirkman was still going strong.
