Grealish gonna go back to Villa. I always thought the goal as a player was to go play with the best players and try to win titles and trophies. It is always strange to me when players don't take that route. I know in some instances money is a big driver. But where is Jack going to go realistically? You got Foden, KDB, and Haaland. Maybe unhappy with playing time? the role he is given? Hates Pep? You are at the pinnacle right now.
Villa doesn't have the funds to get back Grealish. City is gonna want to recoup a good percentage of what they paid. Plus, they chose him over Sterling.

Tbh I’m not too worried about a story from a source I don’t even know who it is. Not worth speculating about unless someone more reputable says something

They better start the hype train for him next year then if they want to try to break even on Grealish. Gonna be really hard to get some one to pay that much again for him. Maybe Newcastle will do it

Chelsea could def use him

Pass, some of this same club’s fans were casually throwing up Nazi salutes just recently

To be fair, this is a problem in football and sports in general, but I rarely see it as commonly accepted as I did with Atletico (barring clubs from countries like Hungary or Russia). Juventus and Lazio ultras are up there too.

I’ve seen someone saying England is much better off for black/non white players; did we forget the abuse black English players received at the latest Euro tournament?

I’ll say that enforcement of anti racist abuse laws is better, but there’s plenty of disgusting racists out there that hide on social media or throw indirect (but obvious to anyone with a brain) racist insults similar to their media headlines.

Anyone who’s been around drunk English fans know how racist and violent they can be.

it's not certain clubs or leagues. let's not be naive. It's literally everywhere you go.
I've been around the world and it's the same **** different language.

Leagues have to start taking points away if they want any real change. Doing the same **** they been doing (irrelevant fines) is just gonna end in the same result.
But you can't expect the Tebas or the Spanish government to do anything because let's be real. They are racist too.
It's all cold facts.
Every system/organisation with nearly all white people at its head is gonna have a racism problem.
Less rich white men in these spaces might actually be the only solution. Can't wait for LeGraet scumbag *** and his lil friends to get the f up outta here.
Don't get me started on western/european countries: England? ***** please, Spain? Nigguh, France...

Dude really published a book at 24 that's not strictly about his rise but his gripes with his current team??

Should've saved the dirty laundry for after he's retired...

His people must have him gassed up so much that he's thinking he really is the footy Lebron

I'm convinced if Pulisic had chosen to play for Croatia instead of the USA , his career would be going much better.
Yea he would've been allowed to develop organically and at his own pace rather then be pushed as the next great American hope in the media the second that he showed some promise.

The added pressure definitely hasn't helped him as well as the constant thirst to make him out to be or anoint him as something he's not yet become.

For a country that hasn't yet accomplished much in international footy, the US sports media definitely doesn't make it easy on players at all with the expectations and pressure they put on their talent immediately.

It's like with England but you understand it a bit more with England given their history as the originators of the game and continued foundational presence in the sport. The US doesn't have that yet there's still a certain level of entitlement placed on the NT and it's players despite where they've been historically.

:smh: :smh:

Glad he didn't back down from speaking his truth.

A lot of folks and parts of the media in Spanish footy have really been showing their asses as of late.

Got a lot of soul searching to do but it's definitely not strictly a Spanish issue like other have mentioned, it's still truly a worldwide issue that impacts so many aspects of society.

Keeping it in the shadows or pretending it doesn't still exist doesn't serve anything good.
