I still want to hear no complaining from the dudes who haven't read the books.
You got no excuses and plenty of time. Get the real story thats way better than this sham of the last 3 seasons anyway.
If you've read the books, yall already know how good it could've been if they stuck to the script. There are very few storylines that are better in the show. Which we could still get in the books (little finger, Queen of thrones, DORNE!!!!)

Don't remind me of TV Dorne. I was so excited to see it on screen. D&B truly let me down.

I know they need to promote the new season to market the epicness to come, but to be honest i don't think i need anything. we're more than a year away and i'm already hyped AF

They needed two winter seasons to film they said.

Each episode will be 90 minutes except ep 3 and 6 which could be 120-150, ep could be longer.

That's what some reputable guy claimed on Reddit a few months ago.

If they makin 90+ minute episodes I don’t see why the season would be 6 or 7 eps. That’s lost revenue on HBOs part.

And I’m a book reader to and it’s unfair to compare the book to show. When the hell has any on screen adaptation ever been as good as the book ?

And don’t get me started on how bloated the books have become in general .. AFFC was terrible

Sansas chapters along with Euron and everything Iron Born are all boring ..and for all the uproar about Dorne .. that Quentyn plot was kinda pointless

A feast for crows may have been boring but a great chunk of history and information came from it.
Sansas chapters were still better than the show (minus little finger)
Dorne plot is great in the books if It comes to fruition.
I feel like ADWD was a bit harder of a read even with our main characters.
Selmy's was probably my favorite along with Jamie

Agreed about the book, I though this hiatus was going to bring us a new book, but it doesn't seem like it anymore...

Hes supposed to have 2 books still if I'm not mistaken... I appreciate both the books, and the series. It would have been nice, to have a book while we waited on the final season though....

I think he got em done, but he's making changes. Plus I would trust his co writers, that made the history book to write a good story too.
