When they say last season was the last of the books. They're not mentioning that certain parts in the books covering certain characters weren't covered at all.

All the forthcoming Bran stuff should still be based on the books with w/e amount of material that is.

Nah man Bran has been caught up for a while. There might be a little left, but not a seasons worth. Bran's story arc this season will be all new. I think his is the closest to the source material but there are some differences. If that's what you were saying then my bad.

Haven't they repeatedly said on the show that you don't come back exactly the same as when you died? Who's to say that he won't lose a bit of his humanity and become a lot less forgiving,more ruthless in the process?

I listen to a GOT podcast and heard that Jaime and Brienne's storylines will converge at the Riverlands this season along with the reported return of several Brotherhood members. So if there was a perfect time for her to make an appearance, it would definitely be then.

We know the showrunners like to have characters replace others storyline wise. Blackfish escaped Riverrun and no one knows where he is. If TBWB is in the Riverlands, it's possible he linked up with them, but we have no idea in the novels. Every other rumored character has at least been seen near set but in interviews and whatnot the actress seems pretty set on not returning.
