Nah not really. The traffic and pedestrian density is looking a bit sparse. Not the end of the world considering the massive size of the game, but that's why R* really needs to hurry up with that PC, and hopefully next gen versions.

man i went to gamestop dude said 200 preorders,

Gamestop has a really good system to get you in and out as quick as possible. You basically cash out and get your receipt before midnight, (after regular stor hours I believe) the employees encourage you to get there early to do this, but you can basically do it anytime before midnight on release date.)then it's just a matter of them scanning your copy and your good to go. It moves quick. I've gone to quite a few midnight releases and I learned that getting in line around 10-15 minutes prior works pretty well. Even for Halo 4 the line was wrapped around the mini mall and it took maybe 15-20 minutes. The guys that line up hours in advance spend more time in line than the people that show up at 11:30.

Also remember that not every preorderer will be there for midnight release.

I can't remember the last highly anticipated release I bought on the first day, so excuse the stupid question.. but what are the chances I could just go to a Gamestop at like... noon on Tuesday and buy the game without issue?

I don't live in the middle of nowhere, but it's certainly not a large city or anything

I want to play the game ASAP, but if I could take advantage of that trade in 2 games get a new one for 9.99 I'd absolutely do it. (Assuming I could do that for GTA and that wasn't another stupid question)
