I keep my money but every time I log on my character is deleted 

 

Your character isn't deleted. R* are buying up more servers and the new ones aren't fully synced so you get placed with a temp character for the time being. All of your data is still saved.

Hey people, I sat on hold with RS Support for 45 minutes to get information about the character deletion.
First, He started the call by saying that they know the problems with online and it should be stable "in a few hours" exact words.
After I asked if my character was gone, and If i should go ahead and start a new character.
He told me my character is NOT deleted, and not to worry. They keep consistent records of characters online. He explained further by saying the reason I, and many others were experiencing the "save slot empty" going on is because they're currently establishing new servers, and not all the new servers have the data transferred yet. Once they do, you should be able to load your farthest progressed save, and be good to go. He further noted that IF FOR SOME REASON IT DOES NOT (after 24 hours) Just contact Rockstar via email support and they can get your save back up and running on a per customer basis.

Steal one and take it to Los Santos customs. There's an option to sell.

[COLOR=#red]Was able to finally get on last night, got through the first race and the intro to online which is pretty much the same as when you start the game. Did a bunch of races with NTers... I kept getting caught up with the damn cops at first. Was a lot of fun though, did some death matches as well. I think I'm up to level 7 now, I saw cats at level 20 and 25 already... unreal.

Noticed this too.

I was trying to do the Meth mission solo and those rednecks were lighting me up. Seemed like I was dead after only a couple shots... AND i had a vest on.

I did it solo too failed the first time what you wanna do is take cover and kill of them before you get in the rv then when you get in the rv more will come just get out the rv kill them and it should be easier.

If your out there getting killed you still have to pay like 500 for your health bill even if your in a mission I think.

Yea it takes about 5% of your money, capped off at 2k I believe (even in deathmatch)
R* says this is a bug though that they are working on

I'm still a little confused on the exactly who's free roaming with me at times.

I assume it's people in my "crew" and any friends I have online.

Is that how it works?

I'd like to free roam with both my crew and randoms, that way we can all wear something that identifies ourselves as a crew.

Yea I was kinda confused myself...

I got online with a few people, didn't know if they were NT or not...

Tried to help one dude in an alley that was dodging the cops, but he pointed the uzi at me. Had to get up out of there quick lol...

I also tried to enter the military base, the gates didn't open and it was an Automatic 4-Star Wanted Level... Didn't even stand a chance

Also, those 'Chasers' missions are a little OD... They had me chasing after a Coquette in a old muscle car... Took me a while to catch up to him...

Still pretty neat so far. I'm just glad that I was able to get through without as many problems as the day before.

For those wondering I'm pretty sure on the HUD its setup so random players are white dots, crew got the red circle around the white dot and people on your friends list has a blue circle around the white. I'm not 100% sure on that but I think that's how it goes.

Is there a way to mute ppl?

on xbox if you go in party chat it automatically mutes everyone

I think you can also call players on your phone and that mutes everyone also
its $10 per phonecall tho idk why they thought that was a good idea
