Haters seem to be hating on Miami's regular season as much as they were quiet about the two last regular seasons by the Cavaliers. Funny how the regular season seems to matter this much all of a sudden.

The truth is that we've never seen this team as a whole to begin with.

As long as they:

1. Get Mike Miller back healthy
2. Get Udonis Haslem back healthy
3. Wade gets back to 100%, or at least 90%
4. Riley replaces spoeLstra

sometime by mid-March and they get about 15-20 games together to get ready for the playoffs, they'll be fine. The addition of Erick Dampier may be a blessing in disguise. He's not a good player, but he may turn out to be better than Anthony and Magloire.

Your best player claimed the Heats would win 7 championships. The Heats brought this on themselves. When they lose (which will be often) they will get ripped. Get used to it.

I just don't see how the hell Riley changed anything with this team. Riley is hardcore, and won't cut any slack to anyone. He will ignore the superstar status of these dudes and look at everyone on this team the same. The egos of these dudes won't be able to handle that.

Spo' is good coach. It's not like dude is inexperienced or doesn't know his stuff. Plus Riley has already made it clear he doesn't want to coach. He's comfortable as the team President. He has hip and knee problems, I don't think he can handle 82 game-long seasons.

With that being said, this is what needs to be done:

1. Lebron needs to be the #1 option.
2. Lebron needs to be the #2 option.
3. Lebron needs to be the #3 option.
4. Lebron needs to be the #4 option.
5. Lebron needs to be the #5 option.

That's it. Chris Bosh is as useless as a fork with cereal. Wade needs to just think pass-first and the rest of those dudes need to be blind-folded and let loose and run around hoping to accidentally make something happen.

So why didn't Bron go off for 50 last night? Why didn't he attempt to take over the game? And don't give me any BS about "this was just a normal regular season game" because he's been unwilling to take the reigns all season.

Until this team gels on the defensive end, things won't get better anytime soon. With that said, we're 14 games into the NBA regular season so I won't call this team a bust just yet. As a Nuggets fan I've seen the Nuggets have a great first 14 games of the season only to suck by midseason. Deep playoff runs usually aren't predicated by what happens in the first month of the season.

This Miami Heat team does have potential but it's pretty obvious Spo either has no control of this team or hasn't clearly established what each player's role is. Bosh comes in preseason talking about fitting in and rebounding(

), Bron talks about how he's not the type of guy to "defer" and Wade is just lost in a puddle of mess. They never had a real chance at the chip this year but I didn't think it would be this bad
