OFFICIAL HOMELAND Thread | FINAL SEASON

I’ve been waiting for them to figure out away to get Franny all the way out the paint. Please lose custody Carrie.

Just realized they dropped O'keefe story line...forgot bout him and that showdown with the FBI already :lol

Hopefully they took him in the woods somewhere & put 2 to his face (not in the brain though so he suffers a bit), 1 in the throat, & then 2 in the chest...

Son aint know he was a pawn.

But really there was nowhere to go if he was the one leading that cause for the rest of the season. That was over really after the general died and Dar was imprisoned. More of a hold over from last season.

Another great episode. The narrative continues to feel so familiar to the world we live in.

Poor ol Frannie's probably better off without Carrie... she'll just be looking for her next 'fix' after this case and another one after that. Needs that adrenaline rush.

The main problem with how they handled the Carrie/Frannie thing was that they been set up a couple outs for Carrie having to take care of a kid and actually be a mother...but they always throw her right back into motherhood unnecessarily :lol :{

So carrie set up dante to be poisoned and have the antidote ready but did saul really plan to have him killed

Also what kind of malarkey the cos girlfriend is really the fb guy's gf

Yeah, Saul def didn't plan on having Dante killed... they needed him alive.

I wonder if Saul slightly delaying Carrie had anything to do with Dante's heart stopping though.

but did they still need him alive?

saul got the call in the car that led him to think the woman was being targeted

so if he knows the russians are going to get her back then wouldnt killing dante prevent him from telling the govt/media that they poisoned him?

like his being alive only has value if shes still in us custody right?

My problem is why did they use the same exact poison used on McLendon? :lol I thought it was smart for them to make him think the lawyer through the Russians tried to kill him but they could've used anything else that they had a quick antidote for.

 I've always liked this actor.

Cast well to have him overreact to epicness of this revealed conspiracy.

Carrie is insane and needs to be committed  :smh:

This ep was great.

Doesn't make sense why they didn't have a couple guys outside of Dante's door
Yeah, something was off.

First it looks like they changed rooms. He had a man outside his room when Carrie was there.

Like shooting his guy got him deep in the ER and able to steal a badge but it didnt cause some commotion to allow the multiple guys posted in there to disappear.

It's amazing how diametrically opposite Costa Ronin's characters are on Homeland & on The Americans. That was one serious *** long road trip Yevgeny was on... Took him forever to get to Bethesda even in a 7 Series...

I think Saul & David should've put together a power point presentation. I think it they would've convinced Paley a lot quicker.

Great season so far. Proly the best. I love how they're showing how social media can be manipulated...

The actor playing Dante, Morgan Spector is credited in IMDB with 12 eps this season... Not sure if he's dead yet.

Carrie the mother of the year

There is no way she can get custody of her kid, besides not being able to afford a lawyer.

I think Carrie's mental state has been a compelling point in this season.... That & the timeliness & use of social media...

It was pretty satisfying to see Wolverine pound his steering wheel in anger!

But all this with Carrie's domestic problems are kinda irritating. It feels a bit forced to push her over the edge. I mean, Frannie opening that door and running out so fast???

As for Dante... how was there no guard there?! I thought it was some bait/trap, but I guess not!

Been an awesome season, but little stuff like that is annoying. I hope they, at least, address the guard issue next week.

Writers figured it out this go around and have crafted a compelling angle to use the character, her sickness creating chaos, the pull of being a mother and saving the country.
