For me it's tighter and smaller then the VI. Less room to move around. It's not undoable and might loosen up as break in, but for me would def 1/2 size up from the VI. Hard to do when your size 13 though.

You know, I washed the Large in cold water and air dried them to prevent shrinkage...they fit pretty well honestly. And I do like how they fit lower on my legs. If Nike would up their game on the quarter-length Elites, they'd have more of my money.I would've bought those socks if NDC would've carried them in an XL.
go to your local footlocker and do a "store locate" for them. i just picked up an extra pair yesterday, size 11 (here in NC) and they had 5 size 11s left
5 left in that footlocker? or 5 left for stock locating?
