There is a bit of pop in... not to bad..
Lag is noticiable when certan areas first load... no lag during gun fights.. But non of this is noticable enough to disturb the gameplay.

I just paid all my bills so I won't scoop up on release date.
I might just buy it used on here or craigslist. This game has tons of hype so I think alot of people will cop expecting a fast paced game and be disappointed.

The meat of the game is solving cases, doing detective work. There's gunfights and action but most of the time you'll be spending solving cases; looking for clues, examining items, interrogating suspects, etc. There's side missions and random crimes that occur too. They also got a "Ask the audience" type thing while doing this too, seeing how much % of the players picked what option. Should be fun.

NOPE !
The Hot coffee mod fiasco with GTA: San Andreas pretty much sealed & killed the fate for R* games coming out on PC. Also piracy with PC games is a even worse problem compared to console game piracy.
GTA IV, RDR, and LA Noire all never got & will not get PC versions released.
