After that mtv speech where Kanye said nothing for about 5 minutes everyone on ig was calling that man a genius, I didn't understand how they got genius from that speech. So now when I see Kanye and genius I just dismiss it because people say it after every damn thing he does.

I can't be mad at this. Mannie Fresh pretty much exclusively produced the Cash Money catalog between 1997-2004, and Zaytoven has now probably produced an equivalent amount if not more.

Zay is literally on every southern rappers tape. I can't think of another producer that has had that much material at one time. Maybe the Neptunes.
The fact that he can play the piano like Stevie Wonder puts him in a different class. He ain't just punching on some machine.

Michael Jackson used to take propofol to go to sleep. Owned his own personal amusement park as an adult and claimed he fathered 3 kids that don't have any of his dna.
None of that makes him any less of a musical genius.
It's cool if you don't like Kanye but that doesn't mean that others don't like and appreciate his music.

Sorry duke, not everyone is so concerned about Kanye. I feel that based on his production for others early in his career and his first 4 albums(Not counting 808s) he can be considered one. I also said I feel like Timbaland is one also. His late 90s/early 2000s work was great. He was responsible for a lot of the best music that came from the whole Ruff Ryders and some of Jay-Z's best songs in that moment.
