Dude has had chances. He has Rick Carlisle as a coach now though. Big difference.

He played sub 25 minutes a game off the bench for the past two years. That's not really a chance when you consider the ability he has as a player.

Memphis took him out the starting line up and cut his minutes down and for good reason. For that team, it was better if he came off the bench. (Even though tony allen is a terrible offensive player. But I digress)

What I'm saying is he hasn't really had a chance to maximize his potential as a player until now.
