Naaaah....whatever he lifted has been paid for already. And the merch is locked up as evidence.

They're basically the same 44 win team from 2 years ago w/ Avery in there instead of KCP, Morris gone but Tobias still there. Brandon's mins going to Ish Smith, etc.

Offense is gonna come back down to earth a little bit as Tobias' regresses to the mean, but they're gonna be solid all year.

Current record is due to the schedule. Only surprising W is at Oracle.

Just saw this on Reddit: "He's not as much of a liability on the foul line it seems, he's defending well, and he's averaging 16 rebounds per game. He's also got 29 assists in his last 7 games. He had 30 his entire rookie year."

Seems like the general consensus is that he upped his overall game and conditioning while being more efficient with his possessions. I didn't search for the data to back it up, but the record somewhat reflects that.

If Rockets continue to play super well and CP3 is out for longer then expected, it could spell a very interesting offseason for them as they decide on what to do with his free agency (assuming he comes back and they are the same or even slightly worse).

They've had an extremely easy schedule besides a few games so far, they're going to fall way back down to earth soon enough. They're not very good. Every Piston fan on here hated their team before this season started

mourning gif

Isn't he supposed to be returning soon?

Maybe getting him rest for a postseason run?

they need to build chemistry first. THey are playing super well with him gone. So you move Gordon to the bench when he's been playing so damn well as a starter and then what? CP3 comes in and what if he doesn't flourish with Harden...could be awkward. Of course winning cures all so they better hope to not go on losing streak of some sort when he comes back

They didn't get chris paul for regular season games man

By the numbers, they literally had the 10th best offense in the history of the sport last year. They're perfectly capable of performing in the reg season w/o CP.

Harden has to adjust, but he's comfortable playing with the ball in his hands since he's been a Rocket.

It's gonna be sorta sad watching the adjustment period when chris returns

Their offense is running seemingly better than it ever has and they're playing defense on top of that!

Check the numbers offensively someone
