I believe he did have the ball more didn't Harden lead the league? That doesn't mean Chris Paul isn't a known holder of the ball though. For what is worth he makes the right play the majority of the time.

instead of letting them walk for nothing in the next couple 1-2 years, you get a star player. attract more fans, win more games, have a ceiling higher than a 1st round exit.

if they switched teams i think ingram would look a lot better. jaylen brown is a nice player on a good team, not sure he would be impressive on a lottery team.
