There’s no team presently constructed or that you could just immediately plug Lebron into that could beat the Warriors. A new super team has to be formed

Nah Boston and Houston would work

To not give a **** about anything and beat the warriors ASAP Boston is the correct answer for LeBron.

houston didnt get the job done. cp went down and harden was left alone and the team failed and that was without iggy. hampton 5 beats a healthy rockets in less than 7 gms
Your exact words was “compete”
And Houston damn sure did that without 3 stars, if I’m not mistaken didn’t they beat GS
Twice With Iggy?

Bron has the biggest ego in the NBA
KD has stole his shine and trophy for the second year in a row...

He wants them headline and media back

He’s going to be a Laker

lebron could win another one if he is willing to take less than the max but i dont see that happening. it's just difficult to max out three guys and still have enough depth unless everyone is willing to take less
yes, you need legit three stars to even think about competing with the dubs
going to a young squad that my have the potential (celtics) to develop superstars but bron cant waste the next couple years. if he did land in boston, they would have to give up a couple young guys to established stars (kawhi, AD, etc).

This. People forget that Kevin Durant took a huge pay cut to join the Warriors and both Draymond and Klay or both on $16-18m/year type deals.

LeBron can't have his cake and eat it too. If he's serious about winning another title he's going to have to put him money where his mouth is. He could vastly improve his title chances by taking a Kevin Durant type deal and allowing his team to have more cap flexibility to acquire better players.

I def agree that they would topple GS in 6 games but that just couldn’t happen for the fact that Kyrie and Lebron together would be needed on that team to beat GS

GS isn't your typical "superteam" by yall's definition. Their core was drafted and developed in addition to making some solid signings. You can argue they became a "superteam" once they added KD to the mix. They have a system that isn't built on being superstar dependent. It's built on, passing, movement, and looking for the right play. It's the same style of ball that won SA a few championships. It really is a collective team effort even though they have 4 top 10-15 players in the starting 5.

KD didn’t take a HUGE paycut

And Draymond is on a max deal for where he was drafted, Klay too

Bron taking the paycut isn’t hard, it’s Bron convincing another player to take the cut that’s gonna be hard. PG and Kawhi are both needed yet both HAVE to be paid

Exactly, they wouldn’t have won their 2nd nor 3rd championship without KD. His 2nd FMVP last night proved that

Well if we're being completely fair if he went okay see you would be making the super max which is $40 million a year as opposed to the $25 million a year he's making right now. Even with the Warriors the max he could be getting is $35 million dollars per year. I consider that a pretty big pay cut.

Hypothetically, if things went south in Minnesota (which isn't that far-fetched) and Jimmy Butler became available would you be willing to trade some of the young guys for him?

Nah. Jimmy ain't on that level. I'd rather keep BI who I think is going to make another gigantic leap this year.

It's all hypothetical at this point, but there is no doubt in my mind that they're a more beatable side without KD despite still being favored. Without KD, I think this GS team still beats the Cavs but it isn't a sweep. I think it goes 6-7 games.

Why can't Kyrie and Bron be together? Boston can probably make anything happen a number of ways. Don't they still have high value draft picks as well?

There's this narrative that the Lakers are the worst situation for LeBron to go to free agency wise and I don't necessarily think that's true. If you look at all of his potential Landing spots I think the Lakers might make the most sense especially if he goes with Paul George.

Also, you know that the Lakers will spend the money necessary to consistently put a title contender out there.

I haven't heard this narrative. In fact most everyone seems to be leaning towards him coming here. Only way it's a bad situation is if he comes alone which wouldn't make sense anyway.

Bron and Kyrie going to be just fine together with a great coach, GM and ownership.

Kyrie is selfish, he wants the spotlight. Him and them young boys wouldn’t be able to stand Lebron coming in and taking all their credit deservingly. That internal drama would fold them when it matters the most.

Definitely, KD brings an extra 25 ppg to the Warriors. I don’t think that team averages anything over 105 ppg without him.
