Let's go with your 4 mil number and say he loses half to taxes.
Using that 2 mil number, I can confidently say that if you have $20 you're not gonna miss 35 cents.


A lot of other things you are omitting. Agent and management fees if he has one. Then the league takes a cut for their future pension and for union dues. He probably sees closer to 40-45% of his actual check.

Scott Brooks BEEN a real one.

There was an article I read a while back about how there was this perceived image of him being a California golden boy with everything handed to him based on his looks...when in actuality, he had a rough upbringing that molded him. The article was also about how Brooks and John Wall were able to bond on them coming up struggling from the mud...with similar backgrounds, while Wall was injured.
