He's averaging 14 FGAs which is about all that can be expected now. He picks his spots for sure but he’s not going to force something that isn't there. He's taking the open shot when it's there so far or making the right play to his teammates. Can't ask for much more, besides the shot to fall a little more consistently.

Lonzo's problem isnt a lack of belief in his shot. None of them ball boys doubt their shot
It's just his jank *** form makes it difficult for him to get his shot off against NBA defense.
He can't shoot going right, he has no real quick pull up in the midrange and he shoots from the hip with a low release point so he needs space.
Which is why his go to off the dribble shot is a stepback while heading left which everyone sees coming.
He's not insecure, he's just smart enough not to force it, especially since he's more of a pass first PG than a scorer.

He's also getting off the shots he needs to. Averaging 5.5 3pt attempts a game and when he is in transition can get to the rim, also has been running the P&R fairly well for somebody who couldn't do it allegedly.

It definitely looks like he's making the right passes in the PnR which is good. He just isn't a threat to score in it whatsoever.

his game will be limited if he doesnt develop a knock down jumper when wide open. basically defenses will play off of him and cover/deny his teammates the ball. What made magic special was that he could back down opposing guards so u had to put a wing on magic thus having a mismatch else where on the floor. Lonzo looks like he doesnt even weigh 120lbs so he wont be backing down anybody. Wizards gave the game away last night though, everytime i think the wizards are ready to "break out" they show us exactly why they still are a average team in a weak but slowly rising eastern conference.

I think Lonzo will be a good player in the league. I just really think his dad is still doing too much.

Absolutely. Still taking poor angles but used a snake dribble a few times, seen him put his defender in jail a few times as well. Don't ever see him running at all star level (which has always been the disagreement) but he's picking up nuances well. Still can't score either. However, none of that matters if you don't have sky high expectations

It's in the thread title.

Early on PG13 looks lost in OKC as the 3rd guy. Good good.
