Like others have said, Shot stick straight down.
And the layups. Different people have different expectations in terms of how often layups SHOULD go in. If you look at the success from a VideoGame standpoint, you won't be happy.

Pro-Am games literally play EXACTLY the same...
down to mirror animations/movements

one HUGE example is the non-charge call at the end of the Ark vs. UNC game
dude tipped it in for the win over a guy off a non-call.
if it was a 2k clip? it'd go viral....as proof that 2k is broken and stupid and terrible and unplayable.
the tip in motion, in real life, is almost identical to one of the tip in animations on 2k
its fascinating, honestly.
i've always said pro am games run like ncaa games, but watching the tourny...its almost identical.

plenty of people play and enjoy it, daily.
typically the people who enjoy 2k are good at it, and the people who do not enjoy it are not good at it.

my goal for 2k17 was to make 2kTV.....made it.
goal for 2k18 is to get a pro tryout, AT LEAST....
ya'll still gonna be crying about animations and how you aren't hitting open jumpshots.

i made a new myplayer
6' 155lbs LDD PG
long arms, broad shoulders.
at 6', you can max out dribbles at 75, which is the lowest that unlocks elite dribbles
i've been learning/practicing linking dribble moves
once i get him all the way together, he's gonna be silly.
i wasted like 120k vc (grinded, why buy?) on a shot creator i thought would be a fake Allen Iverson...
well, this LDD is actually AI....
shot off dribble is +2 for 68, elite dribbles....and everyone ALWAYS says AI "gambled on defense for steals"

People that enjoy playing basketball sims only have one choice but to play 2k.. I'm good at the game and I still think it's trash. I don't even care about animations the game is trash because of 2k and how they don't care about the community.
It doesn't take much to be good at 2k...
Weak a** argument "if you good at it you like it if you not you don't like it" lol bro streamers that get paid to play this damn game still trash it everyday..

2k15 and before, there were NO foul calls....now there are too many.
there still isn't a realistic amount of foul calls.
you can reach 4-5-6 times before getting a foul animation and getting called for it...you can bump/strip etc. too many to specifically name each foul animation.
if 2k replicated realistic fouls/whistles, it would take twice as long to finish each game.
one legitimate gripe is the "step out of bounds force out" foul
which is whatever
i wish it was more 50/50 out of bounds/foul, but whatever.
