Played my first MyPlayer game with the Cavs on HoF yesterday and boy do I regret it. The Raptors destroyed us! I think I finished the game with like 10 points and most of that came from the free throw line. I was so frustrated that I just told the coach to sub me out halfway through the 4th quarter.

Fiinally played a few one on one games vs my homie on HOF & they went kind of ridiculous with the defense as of right now. everyone on the court is damn near a lockdown defender & layups are missed at an all time high

Ya'll playing 2k before November??? Lol
I learned my lesson. Never again. IMO they have a few patches to make I really enjoy this game.

And I may be trash but anything above the All Star level is insane. Everyone is a lockdown defender. Pick and rolls are useless. I tried playing with the sliders and such but I can't get it to my liking yet

They patch something? Ever since Saturday I'm scoring 20-30 points and losing by 30 to the cpu on pro. I'm playing the same way I was before the weekend wtf

HOF isn't meant to be realistic. It is meant to give artificial boosts to the AI.

All-Star is the most realistic representation, followed by SuperStar.

So don't be MAD that HOF is Cheat Mode because that is literally what it is supposed to do.

Think twice before going on to HOF Difficulty

NBA 2K19 Gameplay tuning update tomorrow morning: brings a better balance to Perimiter (buff) vs. Inside (nerf) shot contests for fewer blown layups and less OP outside shooting. And also a slight reduction in the effectiveness of steals out of body ups and fadeaway 3's.

If you're already taking smart shots you shouldn't feel much of a difference. This update will just help reward good perimeter defense and punish people for forcing contested shots. I should probably make it even stronger but don't want to make drastic changes.

Wtf second time they made me forfeit a game because of too many fouls. I was up 12 and they gave me the loss. How you not foul when trying to steal or defend. Sometimes it’s the cpu fouling. I know it is annoying to keep fouling but it’s part of the game. Smfh 2k always try something slick

I never play on HOF. All star exclusively. I don’t have time to fight the controller or become irritated by the blatant cheating the CPU does on this level.:smh:

You’re tripping fam. This is realistic

Fam, that gif never gets old. It will never, ever, not be funny to me. The way Melo is laid out, and they continue with their activity gets me every damn time.

WOW i had the difficulty on hall of fame for some reason all weekend. i was losing to the 06 heat 60-20 in 5 min quarters and dwade would never miss

God, I hate rewards wheel on ante up. Well, just the fact you have to keep pressing A to get “next to spin” it. Takes at least 5-6 min for me. Lol.

What I’ve leanred right when you load into the neighborhood. Just run into the ante up right away before everyone loads in and you have a better chance of spinning the wheel ASAP.

It is practically impossible to lose the ball on PURPOSE. Even with low rated ball-handlers, they can perform move after move and the Ball Security is still in tact. Things should definitely be a little more unforgiving

lmao they made it just like this then patched it in 6 days.

game is broken already LOL

Trying to get actual basketball talk to become heavy in this thread (once again).

I will discuss passing. Over the years, I have heard people complain about there being too many interceptions in 2K. People hate to hear this but I will always say this falls under #UserError.

People simply don't understand distance.

I teach my kids this as well when it comes to playing REAL basketball. I broke the court down into 8 sections.

My rule is to never make a pass from one zone to another zone UNLESS that zone borders the initial zone.

I also would be safe and say to stay away from passes that cross the "equator." (But if you are experienced enough, you could make this work in certain instances)

For example, I personally wouldn't suggest making passes from Zone 1 to Zone 6. That pass would have too much ground to cover and there are too many hands that could potentially get a hand on that ball. (Pause).

I think that is simple enough of an explanation.

Try this before you cry about the passing in the game being broken.

i'd say you'd be surprised how many people who claim to be good at 2k have no concept of this chart whatsoever....

LMAO

but you wouldn't be
