You don't understand how big this is for the Wizards organization. Wall can bring the same excitement/buzz as Derrick Rose. This is EXACTLY what the team needs to recreate some sort of excitement about pro basketball in the city. This guy could be the face of the franchise and a building block/cornerstone for the next 10-12 years or so. As much as the Wizards say that they are keeping Gil around, I don't believe it at all. The Wizards have cap space to fill some of the holes on the roster. Next year is going to be rough...no doubt. But the Wizards have 3 selections in the top 35 picks (2 in the first round). This is AWESOME news....

Its not even that... With a 3rd pick, it puts a hault on a lot of other FA's we focused on. LeBron was a longshot... But others that we had a shot at just lessened by a lot.
