I hate dolan. There was nothing the knicks could do to get 3 maxes.

Lebrons peoole had a seperate meeting telling walsh that was the only way to come. Because he wanted that instant gratification.

Noooothing dolan could do

Slamming melo for not winning and propping up the other 3 for winning has no logic to it

Im not melos biggest fan but the 4 out of 5 draft picks to win a chip is one of the most ridiculous stat pulled out

Carmelo could have the physique of ibaka and he wouldn't be able to beat the heat olympic squad plus the refs.

@ the "ring chasers" comment. Realistically, everybody is chasing a ring, whether you are Lebron or Adam Morrison, and everybody in between

Sad but true.

The Bobcats have acquired Ben Gordon and a lottery protected 2013 pick in a trade with the Pistons for Corey Maggette, according to sources.

Gordon has two seasons remaining on his contract while Maggette's deal expires in 2013. Gordon is owed $25.6 million on his contract while Maggette will earn $10.9 million. Detroit will save $14.7 million with the trade.

Sources confirm to Ken Berger that the first round pick is lottery protected in 2013, top-eight in 2014, top-one in 2015 and unprotected in 2016.

Melo is definitely motivated enough to want to contend for a title when he wanted out of Denver. On paper, New York roster LOOKS good enough to be a Eastern Conference Finals team but their bench is what holds them back. They seriously just need to run plays for Melo, Amare and Jeremy Lin. They'll be fine.

Rumors are that Jordan Farmar may now Opt out of his contract with the Nets.

4.25 mil in savings for the Nets if that happens.

well yeah
surprised farmar thinks he can get more in the new cba. He has his moments.

So am I Dub.

I guess he assumes DWill re-ups and Kidd has been running his mouth about backing him up. (Which I just think is a contract maneuver to get more money from Dallas or maybe even the Knicks.) I think if he does do so, he should try to go back to the Lakers.

Zyzz, there was a post about Amir Johnson and how almost every porn star on twitter had Amir Johnson as "following"
