I assume if they get AK47, they'll slide Budinger down to the backup 2. It's a solid squad but they still need that swingman scorer; I guess they have a lot of faith in Roy making a comeback. Solid team though, I think they can compete for a 6th, 7th or 8th spot (mainly because they are well coached) but Roy is gonna have to show up.

That's what all this comes down to. He shouldn't have opt in back in March. He probably saw how Lebron was hated when he left the Cavs so he said "Ok I'll stay". He should've stuck buy his guns and it would be done by now. I really don't see how he can go back in that locker room and act like everything is all good. The Magic need to take whatever deal they can get and move on.

Supposedly Dwight felt that the team gave him assurances that if he opted in, and he still felt he wanted to leave, the Magic would deal him to the Nets in the offseason. Orlando saying no promises were made. That's why there were talks earlier how Howard felt 'blackmailed' into opting in.

I think they did make him some promises. That's why they fired Stan and the GM. I think they went to him and said "What do we have to do keep you" and he cracked when he knew he didn't really want to be be there. He shoulda just stuck to his guns last winter.

not going to argue with you about that Humps / Lopez trade, so well agree to disagree.... errrr not argue about it it isnt as horrible a deal you make it out to seem, but whatever, its a dead issue.

At this point i hope the magic end up with **** for drawing this out so long and looking like fools and Dwight loses out on that 28milli for being an idiot

Based on the links Shox posted looks like a slew of teams may be getting alternates this season.

Thunder, Blazers, Warriors, Pistons, Spurs, Nuggets, Clippers, and Cavs all have "TBD" for their alternate unis. I hope Denver doesn't get rid of their navy blue alternate. Those are one of the best unis in the league along with the Lakers' white alternate.

Those winter court unis are no bueno.

all this talk about people not wanting to get dwight or bynum in a trade unless they sign an extension is dumb. even if they become free agents next year neither of them will leave almost 30 mill on the table. bynum would play for iraq if the money was right...
