Further more, if Miami Heat/OKC play full court, hail mary pass type basketball, won't that cancel out Dwight on defence

Send in Hasheem Thabeet/Haslem to play hack-a-howard

This ain't 2k. Dudes aren't gonna be playing like that all game.

this. I dont get the point of comparing players who play different positions

:rofl:rollin:rofl:

Same ole Kobe fans I swear. NOW that Lebron is KING of the NBA, you dudes all of a sudden want to cop out and "not compare." When Bron was stuck on that D League Cavs squad and couldn't go NOWHERE, you dudes were QUICK to want to "compare" Kobe vs Bron EVERY chance y'all got. .:rolleyes

How exactly would Marc Stein benefit from Dwight leaving LA to come to Dallas?

Either way, it's not groundbreaking and you knew it'd be there with all the drama around him.. Dwight has been leery of LA for whatever reason in the past. He won't sign an extension now so there will media speculation all the way through, especially when he's not playing well or if the Lakers come up short next June...

He's probably not leaving and he'll re-sign there once he can get his fifth year, but until he signs, you know we're gonna hear about it.

But Marc Stein benefitting from him coming to Dallas because he lives here? C'mon man.

So you hate Lebron? Yeah, uh, could've figured that one.

Anyway, I wasn't calling you a Kobe fan, I was just basically saying that to the guy you quoted but your reply was last. Anyway, you get the point, dudes want to cop out NOW all of a sudden talkin about, "they play different positions or they're different players" but when Kobe was winning his rings, all y'all were quick to compare.

The problem is that people are prisoners of the moment. Is Lebron better than a 33 yr old shooting guard who has been in the L for 16 years? Of course he is. To me that it like comparing MJ with the Wizards to Kobe in 2003 (or whatever year that was). Lebron is the best player in the league hands down (and I hate him for it), but are we going to sit here and act like Kobe wont be the best SG on the floor in Lakers/Heat matchups?

Fam, before this playoff run I NEVER saw you post about the Pacers.

Before this year, how many times had you seen me post in S&T period? I wish I could find other Pacers fans, I couldnt even find enough guys to keep a Pacers offseason thread in motion smh

Looking pretty bleak in there wouldn't you say?

Like I said, most of the so called pacer "fans" came out of the wood works once the playoffs started.

Only other pacer fan I'd acknowledge would be misterp.

Heat won't walk over Lakers.. Lakers wouldn't walk over Heat..

Problem Solved

yes they would.

people are just hating on this team and its ridiculous.

i wish we could close this thread til the season starts.

Walk over is where there is absolutely no chance for the other team.

Come on man.. Everyone knows I'm a huge Laker fan. I do think in a 7 game series Lakers have the advantage.. But it's no cake walk.. By any means

People are really desperate when they use career stats.

What Kobe did in 2002 has nothing to do with Kobe in 2012.

What exactly do career numbers have to do with today? This isn't a hall of fame debate.

Wait...how old are you kid so career numbers dont mean anything huh its year to date...you wanna compare kobe to Lebron go for it...but dont start getting gased up just cause he finally got a chip and then all of a sudden you wanna crown him...i wonder where all the Heat fans was at that last yr with shaq when they went like
18-64....rightttt
