Was thinking about this earlier? When's the last time there was an elite team as young as OKC is? In my lifetime...I cannot recall a team that was top 2-3 in the league and had that young of a roster.
'95 Magic are the team that comes to mind immediately.

The 04 -05 Suns. Nash wasnt that young but everybody else was like 24 and younger. I still think they woulda won a title if Joe had stayed.

OKC's average age was 27, I believe. Fisher was 37. Mohammed was 34. Ivey is 29.
Shaq & Penny were 23. Durant & Westbrook are 23. Sefolosha is 28, Nick Anderson was 27. Perkins is 27, Horace Grant was 29. Ibaka is 22, Donald Royal was 29. Harden is 22, Scott was 26.
It's not that much of a reach, especially when you consider that guys in the '90s were going to school for a minimum of 2 years, in most cases.

i was going off of this year's roster which is why I excluded Fisher, Nazr, and Ivey but you right.

Don't know why ya'll still argue basketball w/ zyzz. Son is a troll.

He called Kyrie Irving trash all last year and talked about how Rubio was so much better than him until he realized how dumb he was looking and changed his tune...

i didnt like Irving, hes become a nice player.

you act like Rubio sucks :lol if he didnt go down with an injury they might have made the playoffs...

That's not the point. Kyrie was tearing it up all year long and even outplaying Rubio before he went down and you kept trying to downplay it.

not at all, i cant change my mind about a player? SMH

i didnt like the hype he was getting from playin what, 2 games in college? :lol clam down

All I know is I'm not picking the Warriors to get to the playoff like I have the past 2 seasons.. Every year I say they got this.. And each year severely under perform.

Wolves 4th? Clipps 6th? Ehhhh

1. Thunder 2. Lakers 3. Clippers 4. Spurs 5. Nuggets 6. Jazz 7. Wolves 8. Mavs

Curry
Klay

I like youor prediction Essential but Im confident that the Lakers take the #1 spot in the West ahead of the Thunder at #2 and as much i want to right off the spurs, I still think they end up #3 ahead of the Clippers at #4.... The rest look pretty dead on!

they have an inside presence, a PF that can rebound and stretch the D (pause), and probably 2 of some of the best shooters in the league. They can definitely squeeze into that 8th spot IMO.

Dallas is gonna better than 8th seed. Collison - Mayo - Marion - Dirk - Kaman is VERY GOOD.

Only issue I have with Lakers (as we know is my team)... Is #1 Dwight's out until beginning of December #2 The age.. That's going to cost a couple games.

I think OKC wins 5 more games than LA.

No way in hell anyone can watch Monta play and say he sucks. He puts up over 25 (Putting extras on it but it's somewhere in that area) a game in the NBA man, he does not suck :lol in fact that makes him borderline elite.
Now, saying all he does is score, doesn't make plays for others, etc. is another story but he does not suck.

That's what i'm sayin'.

There's been no definitive say whether Dwight will or won't be ready for the start of the regular season. If he is, Lakers will get the No. 1 seed, even if he's out for just the 1st month, I think Kobe-Nash-Pau is good enough especially with all the early home games to keep LA right there with OKC.

My predictions:
1. LAL
2. OKC
3. LAC
4. SA
5. DEN
6. DAL
7. MEM
8. MIN

Curry makes me sick, just because dudes ankles are literally made of freakin glass. If him and Bogut are 100% healthy the entire season they will be a nice team. Im looking forward to see how Barnes pans out.

Ummm, so the Grizzlies get significantly worse (.621 last season to this prediction of .586). Considering they played most of last season without Zach Randolph, they didn't have a reliable backup PG and didn't have Darrell Arthur... The only significant loss is Mayo, and they add Arthur and Bayless, get more experience of Selby, don't get worse changing Pargo for Wroten, Cunningham for Ellington is a sidestep that covers a major need, and most important, they get arguably our best player for more than 28 games.

I must be missing something. I get that some teams got better and might get some wins from us, but you can argue that we did get better too. We played most of last season with:

Conley/Pargo/Selby
Allen/Mayo
Gay/Pondexter
Speights/Cunningham
Gasol/Haddadi

We will enter the season with:

Conley/Bayless/Wroten
Allen/Ellington/Selby
Gay/Pondexter
Randolph/Arthur
Gasol/Speights/Haddadi

With Selby, Pondexter, Speights and Haddadi expected to get better form last season.
