Like u said unless you have them in hand the Box Label is the easiest way to tell if they are authentic or not.

the more i look at these tanneries i picked up, the more this tongue is bothering me.  the shape at the corners where it sharply cuts off and the huge stitch-holes are so off.  can someone put me to ease and tell me they have at least one pair of 998s like this?

 I think it's dark just like navy, I think @mykoh has a pair with cyclone midsole and navy accents.
