I would recommend getting a face mask & newspaper to cover your work area.

I stopped at Wendys and grabbed some of their Ketchup cup. (To put the paint I was working with in there) Once that was done I applied a minuscule amount of water in it. Then I just started to paint small strokes with my Angelus paintbrush.

This is going to be my next project. Probably going to have to use aluminum foil to block off the collar and the white lining in order to have a clean black out of the collar..

You ordered the little tub with the handle right? How much did it take to do the collar part? I was thinking of doing the collars and the tongues. I didn't want to order a small one or two and really need the big one you know.

jamesandstl you don't need a grip I accidentally order that by accident lol. All you need is a small amount of paint and just add a tidbit of water. This is the small Navy bottle I order for my mesh 998's. I've probably only used like 10% of the bottle & still wasted some paint.

The 577YP went on sale really fast on hanon for like $80 or something and after that I couldn't bring myself to pay any other price. But I finally did. No ragrats.

well thats a bummer if they are 1/2 down. found the stussy joint in my tts for decent price. i can wear 998 in my tts with thicker crew socks so i may try them anyway. at the price i found them for would prob be fairly easy to pass them on if they do not fit correctly.

btw whats going rate on ds c-notes. just posted a pair but not sure if i overpriced them.
