I'm not really sure of Gardner's BA, but if he can hit a consistent .280-.285 and learn how to bunt well he could be very valuable. Some people in here are acting like it's the end of the world.The Yankees are an automatic 95 win team, barring any major injuries and even with the ones you guys had, they still managed to get to the ALCS. I think the layoff you guys had an impact, personally.
