These aren't  terrible but, I have zero desire to buy them. Especially with All-Stars looming. Makes me wonder about how these decisions are made. Nike is a marketing company and there are so many stories you can tell with this shoe based on Penny's career or the era when they originally released......revisit team colors with a Knicks or Phoenix Home colorway......a better Warriors colorway....... a Memphis Tigers team shoe.....a colorway where the foam panel is something other than black or white.......Nike can continue the Yard Runners collection and drop some HBCU colorways....... a winterized version lol.......ANYTHING!.....and this is what we get.

Even though he was a knick at the time these shoes immediately made me think of Patrick Ewing getting dunked on by penny. I'd have to wear a throwback Ewing sonics jersey with these haha
