It's not like NT'ers came up with it randomly.

Lol it's a Kobe 8 version of the mercurial soccer boot... It's almost exactly the same, it was modeled after the damn soccer shoe.

At least the "mamba-curial" is accurate to the shoe instead of some damn random nickname.

I never understand people's frustration toward nicknames. Some of them are kinda silly(especially on retro'd shoes that magically get a nickname the 4th time they come out)

but nobody's forcing you to call it anything. If you're gonna discuss a popular shoe amongst others, you might as well go with the popular name for it, so ppl no what you're talking about.

But if you want, you can call your next shoe "almost" for the shoe you almost lost your virginity in, nobody cares. Lol
