We replayed the final 7 minutes, at the end he gets the onside kick while down 6 points

He actually ends up scoring and goes for 2 to win it, dude tries to do a QB sneakand Ray Lewis stuffs him behind the line

) is opposed to this rule, POST. thisisnt saying user catching isnt allowed, its just the rocket where you turn the receiver completely around to jump straight up. curls routes are obviously ok,just no manual curls....

Rocket catching is indeed cheesing. In the real world WRs don't just turn around and take off like a jet and the CB just standing there looking puzzle(and if one should say, this is different since it's a video game, then there's your answer as to why it's called cheesing.) RC is unstoppablewhen you mix in the run and pass to others without using RC out of the same formation. With that being said, this is the 8th madden tournament and you guysfinally want to ban it? To me, at this point it doesn't really matter.

did str8 tho thought i would be more rusty - plus the skill level difference and the fact i never used that squad - but it wasnt bad

4th down rule should be looked at...i know you have cheesers and non-sim players BUT 1st drive of the game- down 7-0 4th and 1 on the 1...no team kicks that FG- i ran the dive on 3rd thinking i had 2 downs...

oh and that long 3rd down conversion tip play you had was the game changer - thought it was a easy pic...son tipped it to your other wr

good game tho...i'll hit you for a game when im on if your down-

All I know is that I got lucky...I couldn't seem to stop you on offense and you contain my offense for the most part...if you didn't usethe rams, then most likely you would've won; that 4th quarter fumble at mid field where you had like 5 players around the ball and my 1 player that wasthere (the player that fumbled was on the ground) came away with that fumble recovery

yea you got a couple big breaks...i forgot all about thatfumble- i seen your QB out in open space and all i could think was "user strip" - works perfect then he recovers it

i've been playing less 2- think that was my first game in like 2 weeks

but damn how is there THAT big of a difference between our skill rankings? am i missing something- does it just go off of the points you get at the end of agame? most i get is like 45 is i win or -45 if i lose...and its like 450 to get to the next level ? im confused-

So yesterday I was a bit curious about this HB direct snap play... maybe I'm doing it wrong but I dont find it spectacular...

Most of your banned plays are cheesing, but CAN be stopped/broken

There is NOTHING i have found to do against the rocket catch. How its taken 8 tournaments to be banned is beyond me

Itd be comparable to Shaq posting up in the paint, you arent going to get infront of him to stop him from catching the ball (In his prime)

I played a guy who would only do this to Matt Jones, I'd double team him, high lite him, and take a defensive end following him, so about 3 guys directlyon him

I don't do rocket catch. I've played many people online that mix in RC, running and regular passing out of the same formation, and withthis, it is next to impossible to stop. The only good thing is that once they are inside your 10 yard line then RC is much easier to stop; you can just play acover 2 and control one of the safeties.

one reason why the RC hasnt been banned is because NOBODY but mrmundaenite uses it in their offenses ... at least consistently. and he has only played in a fewtourneys. just a side haha

i also have no idea why a "no huddle shotgun" offense hasn't been banned either. its definately NOT realistic. even the colts take a couplehuddles every now and then

also, i think the rule about not going on 4th down should only be limited to if you are NOT inside the opponents 10 yard like. teams go on 4th and goal all thetime. i accidently went on 4th lastnight against userpick but it was 4 and 1 on the 1 yard line. there is NO WAY an NFL team will take a fg in that situationUNLESS they are playing against a run def they know can stop a sneak or fb dive. just a thought

that is the main reason why it hasnt been banned yet.

imo and seemingly in everyone elses opinion the ROCKET CATCH IS A CHEESE AND IS NOW BANNED.

This is a SIM TOURNAMENT and it is a poor animation that is going to be fixed in next years game. i understand that it takes stick skill topull off, but it is extremely unrealistic. just like the spectacular catch that Lou used last year

Like i said, this isnt a ban on user catching, this is a ban on manual curls in which the receiver jumps straight up to catch the ball. Theres a differencebetween turning around for jump ball and a rocket catch. i will need to see at least 2 rocket catches uploaded through the highlights, or some other way, to DQa player. Ill update it onto pg 1 now

also ill change the rule for going for it on 4th down slightly. TEAMS DO NOT GO FOR IT ALL THE TIME WHEN INSIDE THE 10, THAT IS DEFINITELY FALSE. ill allowpeople to go for it from inside their 3 yard line.
