RJ need that competent playmaker and good shooters to help him be effective... but those things would also make any other player be effective so idk..

hes a tough one to call. Sometimes itooks like hes a grown man doing grown man things. Other times he looks like a broken chuckster. Ultimately his game lies somewhere in the middle of that. and between him zion and Ja, i think his role is the least defined- so we must cut him some slack and allow time for him to marinate .

two things are for sure though - jumpshot is off, and that hes a dog . Still tries to remain aggressive. still a hardworker.

just need to see some more creativity on offense. But its looking like a team/role/spacing issue. As limited (hate to say it) as he looks in the halfcourt, i gotta believe that theres levels to be unlocked

RJ will start as long as he keeps the defense tip top. Thibbs don’t give 2 ****s about that. That’s for the assistants. So will . But I have faith in him as a backup to Quick by season’s end or even traded to the Lakers as their diet Rondo off the bench for 2 seconds & a G League specialist. Need a Dort like player on this team.

It’s still Suggs or nothing for me at this point. So having Elf lead us to top 12 in the East is fine with me as well. This is the golden age of point guard play. Can’t even compete without a formidable 1.

RJ doesn't even need to be an elite 3 point shooter. He needs to improve his mid range and just make that a dependable shot. When you drive to the basket as often as he does, defenders back peddle hard when you put the ball on the ground so if he just has the mid range pull up in his bag he'll be straight.
