OFFICIAL NYk '22 offseason thread, RJ extended

Thibs is wild for saying that man. Get him outta here. He never was able to properly communicate with the younger players.

WTF are we going to do with Denzel Valentine? How the **** is he STILL in the NBA?
It looks like he will be cut. This move was either to get Dolan a easy $Mil or setting up to send that $Mil to someone else in a future trade. Stuff like that legit sweetens the pot.

He ain’t wrong

nah man you don't go out and do this as a coach

he seems very willing to throw players not named randle under the bus while exalting this arrogant "i'm the coach and you don't know any better" vibe. no one can question this guy. instead of building them up, he's very liberal in discussing his other players' deficiencies. then his players see this and what are they supposed to think?

ultimately he's the coach, right? so why have other players been slow in developing when they were damn near nba ready at the jump? meanwhile, other teams have their young players out there cooking

he has not been a good coach this season.

why has RJ gone backwards?
why is IQ perpetually stuck between wanting to break out and being mediocre?
why is obi under such harsh scrutiny while other players are just walking around like zombies on the court?

imagine allowing this to continue so the next round of young players end up in the same situation??

this coach is not good for this team

Y’all do this with every single coach though. Literally. This team isn’t good at all. Regardless of who’s coaching.
