The thing that’s so mysterious about Zion is the fact he might threaten to turn down his rookie extension.
It will be a stupid move on his part, he’ll be the first player to ever do it. But he can definitely help give the Knicks some leverage in a potential trade scenario.

Btw, Brunson most definitely looks better as a player standing next to a generational talent in Luka. That’s what they do.
He’s not worth the money he’s asking for when you have Deuce, and even Quick, on their rookie contracts. Give the guards you drafted a chance to run the offense.
