I don’t even think the Knicks look to trade for a star at this point unless a team approaches them and they can get the deal done fast. The fact the whole team outside of Grimes was basically on the table is not something they can replicate, it fall through, and it not lead to dysfunction.
The only person I could see them remotely look to move in season is Fournier and that too would be based on what I think is not a optimized fit for this roster.

If they are star hunting again via trade, Thibs needs to play the youth as much as possible to bolster their value. Which he obviously won’t.

Yup, like hundreds of other YouTubers that love the Knicks, he’s bringing decades of that experience and trying to educate the immensely vast Knicks nation.
Some moves he was spot on & others just didn’t materialize.
He himself doesn’t listen to most “journalists“ and really only responds to Shams, Woj, Berman & Bagley[sp?] occasionally
And as mentioned, Knicks nation is full of NTish fans so I be watching his videos

KP numbers has remained consistent throughout his career. Knicks fans drove him out of NYK.
When I took a look at Randles numbers 20-21 season is an outlier season on offense. Defensively he has seen slow steady improvements, his numbers has otherwise stayed consistent.
The different between Randle and KP roles is much smaller than Randle and Toppin.. it’s very clear the chants of “can I get some Top” or some variation of Obi Toppin’s last name far out ways what the numbers say about Randle’s or Porzingas stats and production.

Brother Raw says to remember who Lamelo’s dad is. Melo might just be too big of a star for a Charlotte.
He came in to the league rich & pretty much set with those endorsement deals. Lavar wanted all his sons in the biggest stage at Staples.
Outside of the arena that traded away your other son, MSG is the only place a sycophant like Lavar will truly enjoy his time in the league.
Charlotte definitely needs to put a winning product around him to keep him.
