wow have you guys seen what the original purple tape is going for nowadays?, 2 have sold for $150+ and theres one ebay at $100 with 2 days left. i dont knowif its cause of this release but i dont ever remember it selling for that much. but even at those prices i dont think i could ever get rid of mine.

I will NEVER sell my purple tape. That's history b.

I left mine by this chick's crib back in the day and someone jacked HER for it.

I had moved on to cd's but STILL went back to cop a purple tape.

Still got Red's red cassette too.

Imo, I feel as if FS can match up track for track with OB2 and more than hold it's own (FS is actually better to me). The production... the lyrics... etc, were TOP NOTCH.

I agree 100%. I was hyped up for OB4CL II, maybe too hype. It has it's moments but after the initial listening my thoughts were, "It's a solideffort, but it's no Fishscale". Maybe I need to give it a few more spins before it grows on me as a complete album. Fishscale was one album that hadme hooked right from the beginning, on some ol' "the Wu is back" type %#&*.. joint is raw.

i can't get over how ill the beat for Black Mozart is. lol @ dudes saying RZA fell off at producing.

i can understand why Raekwon was mad at RZA for 8 Diagrams now...i mean i like the experimentation that RZA went with on that album, but this is just somestraight 90's Wu !%$$ with Black Mozart. Rae must've been mad at RZA cuz he knows his potential for making some raw !%$$.

That would've made my year.

I felt it was lacking on the commentary & skits. Rae, Ghosts' & RZA adlibs > *. This joint def had successful 'RAGU Returns' potentialall over it...

I'm not complaining though. He outdid himself with this joint, But I just wanted more of that 'Wu' feeling out of it.
